Hi Matt ... Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed your solo performance ... and also the backing and musical interaction with Roy last night at Newark Palace Theatre. We made a 70 mile journey to see Roy, as Newark was the closest he was coming to us on this tour ... and I would travel the same distance to see you play again! Saw you with Roy last night at Derby. Complements. Last time I saw Roy he was playing with Nick and I thought that was a perfect fit but your contributions weaved in just right. Your own stuff is very cool and the loop stuff worked very well and your interest in new techniques was infectious and made me think my own efforts on the fret board might do with a bit of invigoration. Encore. |

Hi Matt, saw you last night at Bolton and really enjoyed your playing. I liked your own compositions better than the stuff by other people - just my personal view, not a criticism.
